Tender Misdemeanors
by Alana Lorens
Genre: Romantic Suspense
Caryn Orlane has law enforcement in her blood; her father was a cop, and his father, too. She’s a federal agent in northwest Montana, protecting the old forests and keeping the peace.
Levi Bradshaw also believes in protecting the forests, but has a very different MO. He’s the leader of a group of eco-warriors, determined to save the trees of the Bitterroot by legal—and illegal—means.
When they meet in the woods at gunpoint, their encounter ignites a spark of interest, despite operating on opposite sides of the law. When their worlds turn on them, they only grow closer. If they don’t work together, can either survive?

I'm a reader, an avid reader, or perhaps a rabid reader (at least according to my family). I enjoy reading from a variety of different genres but particularly enjoy fiction, mystery, suspense, thrillers, ChickLit, romance and classics. I also enjoy reading about numerous non-fiction subjects including aromatherapy, comparative religions, herbalism, naturopathic medicine, and tea.

Really don't care for the lips close-up cover, but I see it ties in with the title. I prefer more scenery type covers. Story sounds great. Really enjoy stories taking place in the wilderness.

I want to revise what I said about your cover. My view of it only showed the kiss. I can now see it all, & I like it! Sorry!

It does almost seem like two different covers! but the dogs are important to the story, so I'm glad Kim Mendoza found a way to make them all join in.
